We are so excited to share that Ms. Kristi Baldwin, Director of Risk, was awarded 2023 Risk Director for UHS Behavioral Health Division. Ms. Kristi joined Oak Plains Academy on March 28, 2022, as the Director of Risk Manager. She joined the team with very little experience in risk management, but a significant amount of leadership experience, and particularly the field of Human Resources. She quickly grasped on to the responsibilities of the Director of Risk Management and reached into her human resources (HR) toolbox that is jam packed with 25 years of experience in dealing with employees. Her mantra has been “that employees make mistakes, but rather than taking an employee who cares and turning in them into an employee who doesn’t care, let’s make sure they were well trained so we can hold them to job expectations.”

Kristi has proven to the team at Oak Plains Academy that she is unwilling to let anyone compromise patient care and patient safety by holding each of us to the highest standards of Service Excellence. Her style of Servant Leadership has won the respect of every member of The Team at Oak Plains Academy.
