Joseph Rodriguez

Joseph Rodriguez, Chief Executive Officer

Joseph Rodriguez earned a master’s degree in human resources, and accumulated additional degrees in Organizational Leadership, Liberal Arts and Science. He has been in behavioral healthcare for over 40 years with most of those at the executive level.

Nick Mayo

Nick Mayo, Chief Financial Officer

Nick Mayo is a graduate of Tennessee Technical University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. Nick has been with Oak Plains Academy (OPA) since 1996 and has held 3 positions through 4 ownerships. For obvious reasons, Nick is considered the historian at OPA and has stated that he has always placed patient safety and patient care as the most important job duty we have at OPA.

Rhonda Rodriguez

Dr. Rhonda “Kay” Rodriguez, DNP, PMHFNP, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Kay Rodriguez is a Doctor of Nursing Practice board certified as family Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.  Dr. Rodriguez has 30 years’ experience working in the field of mental health treating age groups ranging from children to the geriatric population.  As a military veteran, Dr. Rodriguez, has also served as a provider to the military population and their dependents.  Her passion for treating children and adolescents contributed to her being led to Oak Plains Academy.
